Jo Strain is a designer/maker of mixed media jewellery which explores colour, texture and materials such as gemstones, eco silver, aluminium, handmade felt, rubber, glass and ceramic beads, wood, textiles and found objects. 

Colour, contrast and comfort are central to her design process. New materials, collaborations and constraints are key sources of inspiration. A long term focus is designing and making jewellery which is unexpectedly light to wear.

She handmakes one-off pieces including special orders and occasionally small run jewellery collections, making her jewellery ideal as affordable gifts for special occasions or yourself.
